Export user IDs in a live A/B test (experiment) by control and variant

You can download a list of users who are in the Control and Variant groups of a live experiment. This is done through the Audiences tab.

To keep the variants separate, you must export your user IDs while the test is still running, before you select a winning test group.

Once you choose a winner and finish your test, all of the users in the "losing" variant will be moved to the winning one. This means that if you export the user IDs after choosing a winner, all users will show as part of the winning variant.

1. Go to the Audiences tab and click Create Audience
2. Select More Actions and then click Download Users

3. In the Filter users by section, select A/B test and choose the experiment that you wish to export:
